You may have heard in the news that on January 12, 2021 the U.S. Supreme Court made it more difficult for people to get the abortion pill by mail. The recent decision by the U.S. Supreme Court is part of a long-standing battle between clinicians/activists who want to remove the medically-unnecessary restrictions placed on the abortion pill, and the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). MYA Network and other groups (like carafem and Plan C) are continuing to fight on multiple levels to increase access to this safe medication.
